Dear AFS Members,

As I step into the role of AFS Board Chair, I am excited about what we can accomplish together. Moving forward, my primary focus is ensuring AFS provides clear, actionable value to your professional development and organizational goals.

To guide this effort, the Board recently approved our 2027–2028 Strategic Focus Plan, which centers on two key priorities:

• Community Growth: Expanding and deeply engaging the individual and corporate AFS community.
• Educational Excellence: Strengthening the AFS Learning Center and our core training programs.

Here are a few updates and upcoming opportunities:

• Leadership Transition: A sincere thank you to Saravanan Andan for his outstanding leadership, and to our dedicated volunteers for moving AFS forward.
