Connie Rhea Named Executive Director of American Filtration & Separations Society
The American Filtration & Separations Society is pleased to announce that Connie Rhea, IOM, QAS, has been named executive director.
Connie has spent most of her career in non-profit association management. Her background includes various skills in meeting planning, committee staff support, branding, chapter events, board and council meetings and annual conventions. She has served in positions including administrative assistant, director of continuing education and chief operating officer.
An adaptable professional in all areas of project management, Connie has served on numerous task forces focused on strategic planning, staff development and consulting for technology enhancements for day-to-day operations.
Serving as a past committee member, board member and now a past president of Tennessee Society of Association Executives (TNSAE) has allowed her to maintain those relationships built through association management and meeting planning organizations. Those relationships led her to join the Oak Ridge AMC team, which has allowed Connie to put those skills to additional use as executive director of the American Filtration & Separations Society.
