Society Operations

The guidelines for the society are defined by its bylaws. In accordance with these rules, the organization is managed by a Board consisting of the following: 

Executive Committee (elected by AFS members)
Board of Directors (elected by AFS members)
Committee Chairs (appointed by AFS chairs)
Chapter President (elected by Chapter members)

AFS staff, which includes the Executive Director and Conference Coordinator, manages day-to-day operations.
