Val Hollingsworth Retires from Hollingsworth & Vose

The American Filtration & Separations Society wishes to extend heartfelt congratulations to Val Hollingsworth on his retirement from Hollingsworth & Vose (H&V), a long-time AFS Platinum Sponsor. Val is stepping down after serving as CEO for 24 years.

The company has announced that Josh Ayer has been named the new CEO, having joined H&V in 2009. Val Hollingsworth, who has been with the company for 42 years, will continue to serve as Chair of H&V’s Board of Directors.

Hollingsworth & Vose has been a stalwart supporter of AFS for more than 10 years as a Corporate Sponsor and as a consistent technical contributor to AFS conferences. Val Hollingworth is scheduled to deliver a plenary presentation at World Filtration Congress 13, “Public Awareness of the Energy Benefits of Filtration.” New CEO Josh Ayer also has been an active presenter with AFS, most recently at FiltCon 2021, where he delivered the plenary presentation, “Impacts on Filtration Market Growth, Before and Since COVID.” Sneha Swaminathan, Director of Technology at H&V, is a Track Chair for WFC 13 (Health Track) and a member of the AFS Board of Directors.
