Instructors:

AFS Godwin Severa imaage

Dr. Godwin Severa has over 10 years of research experience focused on the development of advanced materials for gas sorption with applications in air filtration and hydrogen storage technologies. His academic research focuses on developing new filter media materials for the mitigation of acidic gas contaminants. He holds a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry and a Master of Business Administration. Dr. Severa has been actively involved in AFS over the past seven years and is currently the Scientific Committee Vice-Chair and a member of the Certification Committee. He is also the co-chair of the Energy Track at the 13th World Filtration Conference.

Leonaerd CastellanoMr. Leonard Castellano was part of a leadership team that created R & D Filtration Innovation Center for Parker Hannifin from the ground up as part of the acquisition of CLARCOR. He led teams on construction, the procurement of equipment, developing systems and policies, and eventually created new developments, processes and services for the LOBs including applying and obtaining VPP status through OSHA.
