GregorEdward C. Gregor is Managing Director of Edward C. Gregor & Associates, LLC, a consulting company specializing in the creation of growth for companies having new or under-exploited technologies & manufacturing capabilities in performance materials, specialty polymers, technical textiles, and filtration. He has developed several of the industry's most advanced filtration media, fiber, textile, nonwoven fabric technologies with client companies over the years.

Ed Gregor is co-founder of the American Filtration & Separations Society in 1987, and has served as past Chairman in 1990 and again in 2004 and was awarded the AFS Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010. Mr. Gregor is the chairman of Filtration News magazine's technical advisory board and on the textile advisory board of the Journal of Industrial Textiles and Coated Fabrics. He was the co-founder and Editorial Consultant of the magazine Technical Textile Technology (T³) formed in 2002 for the North American market.

Course Introduction
This course is designed for novice and intermediate filtration specialists or non-technical professionals that want a more in-depth understanding of filter media and their uses.  The course covers media, applications, and market trends for technologies in Plastic Medias, membranes, Filter Aids & Precoats, Nonwovens, Monofilament Fabrics, Ceramics, Wetlaid, and Wire Cloths.  This course will help you learn terminology, growth areas, and critical aspects for the use of each media covered using specific examples.
