FILTRATION Journal

New AFS & TFS Venture

At the World Filtration Congress (WFC9), representatives of the AFS Publications Committee and The Filtration Society (TFS) agreed to publish a joint world FILTRATION Journal beginning the first quarter 2005 and continuing quarterly. The Journal takes into consideration filtration needs, findings and information, spanning both the North American and European continents. The FILTRATION Journal replaces the AFS Fluid Particle Filtration Journal originally conceived and published by Dr. Frank Tiller beginning in 1987.

Each issue contains peer reviewed technical papers and non-peer reviewed application articles. In addition, updated news of the American Filtration & Separations Society and The Filtration Society, located in the UK keeps members abreast of future events and reports of on-going activities.

Dr. Ray Collins, Dow Chemical Company, is the Chairman of the AFS Publications Committee. Dr. George Chase, University of Akron, is the AFS Editor of the FILTRATION Journal. Anyone wishing to publish in the FILTRATION Journal may contact Dr. Chase at gchase@uakron.edu
