Parker Hannifin wins AFS "Product of the Year" award
Parker Hannifin's new product the "Parker Zander GL series" was awarded the AFS "Product of the Year" award at the AFS 2011 annual conference that was held in Louisville, KY on May 9-12. The award is given to the AFS corporate sponsor that demonstrates the highest level of achievement to the AFS Users committee. Wells Shoemaker Award - Established in 1989, the purpose of the award is to recognize outstanding leadership and exceptional service within the AFS. Nomination form (pdf)
Frank Tiller Award - Established in 1989, the purpose of the award is to recognize outstanding scientific or engineering achievements in the area of Fluid-Particle Separation. Nomination form (pdf)
Fellow Member Award - Established in 1996, the award confers free lifetime membership in recognition of superior contributions of organization and leadership to the Society for at least 10 years. Nomination form (pdf)
Young Scientist Award - Established in 1999, the purpose of the award is to honor those that are still early in their careers. The Young Scientist Award is for those less than five years out of school. Nomination form (pdf)
Senior Scientist Award - Established in 1999, the purpose of the award is to honor individuals in the middle of their career. The Senior Scientist Award is for those with careers longer than five years. Nomination form (pdf)

The criterion for each award is outlined on each separate form. Please take a moment to recognize your fellow AFS members who have made significant contributions in any of these categories.
Review and Selection Criteria
The Awards Committee and the Board of Directors will review all nominations based on the criteria for each individual award.
