Filtration Training

2008 AFS Fall Conference

2008 AFS Fall Short Courses

Move Yourself Forward – Enhance Your Expertise – Meet the Experts

AFS offers a number of unique filtration and separations training short courses. Educational opportunities on these topics are difficult to find, especially with the level of expertise that you will receive here. Leading experts from the filtration and separations industry are instructing the courses. Upon completion, attendees receive certificates of completion and earn CEU credit.

Product familiarization and technical training of new and existing filtration products is an integral and essential part of doing business. An investment in knowledge is a key ingredient in understanding a customer's business and being able to recommend cost-effective system solutions.

Understanding the damaging role that contamination plays in system failure and machine downtime is typically one of the many topics covered as well as correct filter sizing and understanding filter media types and uses.

What Do Course Attendees Say!

“Outstanding course. Very appropriate combining the theoretical and practicle aspects. Pace was excellent, and instructors allowed ample time for discussion and questions. the interaction was great and the information valuable. Learning was achieved. Recommend this class for the novice and the experienced, because of the interaction and learning dynamic with experienced and knowledgeable instructors.” Joe Israel, Donaldson Company

“I found the short course very beneficial. There were filter manufacturers, sales representatives, and end users in the class, so different perspectives were explored. The class was small enough that individual needs could be addressed. I would recommend the course to others.” Nathan Capps, Beam Global Spirits & Wine

On-Site Custom Training - this means an expert in filtration comes to your site and trains your people.

In order to meet this important need of the filtration industry, the AFS has developed an On-Site Training program. The short courses that are normally scheduled to kickoff AFS conferences can be brought to your location. This program will permit you to train a significant number of employees or distributors without the added cost of normal travel expenses. Plus the employees stay on-site and don’t miss work because of the travel time.

This program achieves the goal of essential technical training for employees, distributors and manufacturing reps while saving training time and dollars. It also allows you to tailor the curriculum to specific needs of your company.

For more information about the On-Site Tailored Training, contact the AFS office 612-861-1277.
