G. Bopp + Co. AG celebrates its 125th anniversary while looking back on a long and distinguished corporate history. Established in 1881 as a manufacturer of sieves and wire nettings, this family-owned company currently employs over 350 people worldwide with subsidiaries and agents in almost all industrialized countries of the world.
Today, Bopp is world renowned for quality and their comprehensive product line. To ensure production capabilities meet anticipated future demands for customers and markets, a projected year-long expansion and growth project at the company’s headquarters in Affoltern, Zurich and the company’s production plant in Wolfhalden are under way.
An additional weaving hall, equipped with state of the art looms, will produce finer meshes under cleanroom conditions. The construction is estimated to take approximately one year.
