Matrikx Microbiological Barrier(tm) And Scientist both Recognized by American Filtration & Separations Society
May 12, 2004 Orange CT. KX Industries, L.P., the world leading OEM manufacturer of carbon block filters for residential and commercial use, today announced that its newest technology, MATRIKX MICROBIOLOGICAL BARRIER(tm), received the 2003 New Product Award at the 9th World Filtration Congress held from April 18 through April 22 in New Orleans by the American Filtration & Separations Society. This technical educational nonprofit organization, started in 1987, serves as a forum for exchange of information among engineers, scientists, and technologists in all areas of the fluid/particle separation field.
The MATRIKX MICROBIOLOGICAL BARRIER(tm) was nominated for the 2003 New Product Award as a unique entry into the marketplace according to the Society, and represents a totally new technological achievement in water filtration for the consumer market with applications in refrigerators, end of tap filters, whole house filters, water carafes, under-sink filters and above-sink filters.
