All of our fabrics exhibit excellent uniformity, plus high tensile and tear strength even at low fabric weights. Because the fabrics are made of nylon, one of the toughest and most durable manmade polymers, our fabrics can be ultrasonically seamed and fabric edges are not subject to raveling. In addition, nylon bonds well with most adhesive systems, making these fabrics excellent materials for manufacturing laminate and composite systems.
Our patented formation process creates a product which is more uniform than other spunbond nonwovens thereby reducing possibilities of media migration and ensuring pleat integrity during processing; with tensile and burst strength properties setting it apart from other webs. Cerex materials also provide nearly one-half the thickness profile of other spunbond materials which deliver opportunities for increased filtration surface area and lower differential pressure. Additionally, our filtration fabrics are thermally resistant and chemically resistant where other nonwovens fail; and are ideal for use in gasoline, diesel fuels, hydraulic fluids, and other environments that require the highest quality materials.
